Terri's Tip Tuesday

Lately I've been hearing so much about the health benefits of flax ~ oil, whole seed, & ground. So I asked my friend Terri about the specific benefits of each. They are all important and helpful so here's the scoop!

Flax Oil has omega 3 fatty acids which are helpful for the brain function as well as in flamation.

Flax Seed is a stool bulking agent which helps your digestive track. Because it is a source of fiber it helps the bowels move.

(can I just say I dislike that b word!)~R

and onto Ground Flax Seed ~ this is especially vital in order to detoxify estrogen & other excess harmones. Therefore it prevents breast cancer, prostate cancer as well as other types of cancers.

If I were to choose just 1 to make sure I was getting every day, it would be the ground flax seed. 1 Tablespoon each day is what we need.

We all said farewell to Terri yesterday as she and her family moved to NC. So this week we have said goodbye to the milk man & to TERRI. Let's just say it was way harder to see Terri move! She is off to open a wellness center in Kure Beach.

Ground flax seed is very easy to add to your daily life... sprinkle on cereal, yogurt, mix into homemade muffins/breads, oatmeal, etc.
