for years now i've seen on other blogs
the idea of choosing 1 word
to represent the upcoming year
in the past i've never done that
but this year i will
many of you know the word
believe
really ressonates with me
it has for a while
for years
last year it was a real focus for me
i still believe
this year i'm choosing
joy
i believe in joy
(other blogs referring to the one word theme
and i'm sure there will be more over the next few days)

My word for 2011 is gratitude. I have so much to be grateful for in my life. I want to focus on the many blessings that I do have ;)

joy. i seem to have a love/hate relationship with it. i crave it and yet seem to fear it at the same time. i love that you are making it your focus for this year. i pray God causes it to overflow out of you... contagious joy that infects others around you.

My word is grace. Learning to have grace & see others the way God does.
Joy! That is probably a life word for me...and I was SO tested in that last year...and I think that I probably failed often...nonetheless....my word this year is REDEEMED! Seeing Him in my life and what HE has done (not me) is a goal that I want to realize even more in this year!
